I used Yamalube for years and was very pleased, clean burning as
others said. Then a bunch of fellow riders I run with started touting
Walmart outboard oil, wow, $7 for a one gallon jug! I did one teardown
after running this and gave the leftover oil away to friends that run
it. It was really gummy bad stuff, and I never really felt comfortable
running it anyway (maybe cuz it didn't have a picture of a motrcycle
on the jug, hehe). Since the Yamaha dealer is not convenient to get to
I have been running Maxima Super-M and am similarly pleased with it as
I was the Yamalube stuff.
