Post subject: New tyres

Had some new tyres fitted today: Avon AV49/50 Sport. Then I remembered that
christofire had them fitted...he crashed. When flook heard that I had Avons,
he mentioned that he crashed with them on as well.

It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember muck RemoveThis @_TEETH_rulex.net (Muck) saying

They were French - the laws of physics affect them differently. For
example the molecules in anti-perspirant deodorant can't exist in the
same space-time continuum as a Frenchman's armpit - strange but true.

tyres - I was just pondering on the irony that the most expensive tyres last the least number of miles, and then got to thinking - is this actually a valid state of affairs or a marketing issue? I.e. does a Rennsport/Dragon Corsa/BT010 etc. really cost twice as...
