I want a trials bike !

.... actually I NEED a trials bike ! I want to get back to trials after
10 years being away but I'm not ready to make the $6K+ plunge for a new
bike just yet. That leaves me with searching for a used bike. I've
bought 2 bikes via the internet and was disappointed with both. I
really need to touch, look & hear. I've been to many (there really
aren't enough) trials web sites posting wanted adds and reading all the
for sale adds. I've posted on all the local bike sites (they're mostly
MX oriented). I've spread the word to all my MX, ICE Racing, Trials,
Flattrack pals. The next local trials is May 1 (I'm in MI), I'll go
there & look too but I'd rather go there & compete. I'm a month in to
my search and I don't have a bike yet. My target is 2000 or newer,
around $3k. Suggestions & leads appreciated, but it's gotta be within

My guess is that if you haven't found anything by the time of the first
event, you'll see lots of used machines at the event.

Good luck. 10 years is too long not to be on a trials bike.
