The missus and I often take a 300-400 cruise on the weekends, only diff is
we like to stay off the slab and tend to get lost on small country highways.
I got coerced into going to MAMBM one year, and even thought there was a
bunch of AH's there I still had a blast. Went back again last year and
forced the wife to go with, she said it was tolerable too. We will miss it
this year due to other obligations.
MAMBM for us is a ~two day run, 1100 miles, unless Big Stinky is leading,
then it is more like three days.
Many of the regulars go a hell of allot father to show at a IRL. If you show
up, don't expect classical music and drinking tea with yer little pinky
pointing out!

Hey! We weren't lost, we were exploring.

Plastic's on the bar. Shirley, get some eyeopeners for these fine
folk. I'll have a pitcher of extra strong Bloody Marys.
Those two paragraphs above are one reason I would like to make at
least one IRL this Spring/Summer.
I have been in amateur radio for years and on news groups for a while
now. It is amazing the mental picture you build up of a person from
communicating with them without meeting them in person.
I enjoy reading the posts here and occasionally contributing a few
tidbits. I have an image of just about everyone in my mind. I try
not to associate these with the pic's posted across the street. I
hope I can meet at least a few of you so I can have fun comparing my
minds eye image to reality.
It should just add to the fun!
Man I am sick of Winter, I should have stayed in FL last month! F***
Winter!
Have another on me, I'm going to drink this pitcher and go back to
bed. (Nasty head cold!)
