Nurse, a round fer all if ya please...... and just keep tha plastic, I won't
lose it that way.

Now that I stepped on ma goober a bit in my last post, I thought I'd try it
again. I wanna send out a thankie for all tha kind words and a few well
placed suggestions in response to my last post.

"You southerners are wimps. 32f is balmy"
Only if yer a bird walkin round in a tux all yer life.

"Check out the FAQ. Phil posts it every Sunday"
I can now say "been there....done that". Thanks, it's a good read....lotsa
good info. Kinda wish did that before I wouldn't be tryin to get this damn
boot print offa ma goober now.

Thanks, and that's a welcome to ya. Oh yeah, the IRL stuff is the way
to go. It's what separates the VB&G from other newz groups.

What part of Bama ya in? I'm around Tuscaloosa (Mother and sister live
there) and Mobile (daughter lives there) quite often, and occasionally in
Dega for the races. If'n ya near any one of them, we'll have to hook up.

I park the scoot in a li'l spot just south of Decatur, but I work over in
Madison. When I feel the need to ride in it's not a bad trip (for a short
one, that is). If /when I get out towards Tuscaloosa I'll have to look ya
up.

I'm not in Tuscaloosa, just happen to be out that way often to visit
mother and sister. I'm actually ENE of Atlanta.

sporty out of time? - I have a 1989 883 sporty with 22k on it .It was running bad ,backfire ing ,sputtering, stalling.I cleaned the carb ,put new intake gaskets on ,new fuel line.I think that it may be slightly out of time as it is hard to start and will only start after it..

clean up time - Got caught in rain several times over the last 3 weeks since last wash time with both bikes. Then last Wednesday the front lifter block on the 78 loosened up enough for oil to come pouring out and messed things up real good. Paid my oldest daughter $20 t...

Pipe Time - Well, it's time. I am going to swap out the stock pipes on my 2003 FatBoy. I am sold on Vance and Hines Big Shots. I just cant decide between the staggard or the longs. I like the longs, but was told that on Softails, the longs are so low (at the back..
