.... as dry weather - at least for some days -, temperature above the
freezing point - at least around noon -, no salt on public roads - at
least the big ones - and: OPEN MX TRACKS?!?!

Boy oh boy, I'm starting to get pissed. Two bikes in the garage (YZ426F,
KTM 620 SC), both in mint condition, new tires and clean air filter and
carb. Pro-Link regreased. Valves adjusted. New oil and filters. MX gear,
helmet lining all laundered and new glasses for all 3 goggles. Two sets
of clean gloves. Trailer is waiting, Audi's hitch installed. Bought a
$50 camelbak and brake pads today...

I absolutely can't think of any other pastime maintenance than waxing my
new Alpinestars Tech 8 (again), spraying all plastics with WD40 and
polishing the KTM swingarm to a chrome like finish. Shudder.

WINTER SUXX. Big time.

Even in (north) Italy the weather forecast predicts rain and temp around
0-5°C.

I can't wait for spring to come. Seen all Crusty videos for the 1'000th
time, started with MTB-footage (http://www.bombenkrater.de/videos.htm)
and even bought some p0rn if it comes to the crunch.

Any idea besides working out at the gymn or swallowing moodlifters?
Practising heel-clickers into the swimming pool? Unbearable. This time
it's worse than ever.

It must be hell. On earth. Indeed.

Volker,
not amused

There's a thing worse: Perfect weather, perfect bike (though I need clean that carb...) and NO
RIDING BUDDIES!

I'm going to do the stupid move and ride alone. If I don't post next thursday (big holliday from
saturday to wednesday), *don't* send flowers.

Accordians and beer, Volker. Check out Simple Life, as recommended in
another thread.

They have improved my disposition on rmd.... At least at this 1/2 way point
of winter in Minnesota.

Be tough, like Lawrence Welk. Not living in hell on earth is for pussies.

Oh fuck off, Tiago!

Go to the beach, get a rum drink like you've described before, and leer at
some Brazilian supermodels in your perfect weather.

How do you say smiley-face in Portugese?

I always considered Lawrence pretty formidable looking.

It was 70F and sunny here today.

cachaca! I got this music stuck on my head:

"me de uma cachaca, eu estou amargo demais / pra tomar cerveja"(*) damn, can't get rid of it,
where's the power button???

Carnaval is around... When I was 18, I loved it, but now it seems kinda stupid being out there,
under scalding sun, in the middle of the streets and barely being able to walk, 'cause there is so
many people...

<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.pernambuco.com/webcards/enviados/galo.jpg" target="_blank">http://www.pernambuco.com/webcards/enviados/galo.jpg</a>

I work nearby... This will happen tomorrow, by this time (11:50am)...
too much people. All girls will be there though, but I'd rather stay home and clean my bike's
carburetor... I NEED ride, I don't ride since january 11!!!

If you want to feel what it is like, try to put 20 people inside a vw beetle. Look in kazaa for
"vassourinhas" mp3, it's the anthem of that party and play it so loud so you can't hear your own
thoughts. Oh, try to dance it inside the beetle with the other 19 people.

 >How do you say smiley-face in Portugese?

this Smile ?

it is smiley.... Wink

but is also known as "sorriso".

Lots of bewbs. I've seen bewbs before and also drank till I vomited so
unless it rains, I'll be at the track.

Cheers.

Next time you go drinking, try not to grip your drink so tightly.
Keep your weight on your feet. You want to try to avoid liver and
stomach pump.
