My Arai (Doohan) has no sticker nor does my Arai XD (purchased from USA).
Whilst the cops can book you for a non-complying helmet they are usually
fixated on the reading of the radar gun when I am chatting to them.

Good stuff. I figure if the Germans make it it is safe enough for my (non
square : ) ) head.

Sure is. In Burswood near the Rivervale Church and that seafood joint with the
big prawn out the front. I didn't know the sold bikes there until a few weeks
ago when I went looking with a mate for a F650GS.

Me too European Standards are good enough for me. The Arai XD was $450 via
the USA on-line and $950 in Australia, $500 is too much to pay for a sticker
on the same product.

No kidding. The prices we pay here for stuff is crazy. My bike jacket was
less than half the price in the US.

I'll second the Draggin gloves, got mine a couple of years ago ago with a
subscription to Two Wheels and have been using them (the gloves that is,
the mag is useless at protection) ever since. Especially when the temps are
up around the 40 degree mark as seems to be the norm in the west lately.
