Just wanted to say thanks to the guys who stopped to help when my
friends CBR250R had fuel problems.

Guy on a ZZR250, one on a GSXR750 and one in a falcon wagon (mentioned
he had a norton)

Will be taking off the tank tonight to see what the problem is.
The guy on the gixxer got it started for me then it happened again
later on. Seems to fill up the bulbs in the carbies and then starve
again. Maybe a kink in the line, don't know ???
Anyway, thanks again people.

Sometimes, that's the tank vent being blocked. Usually your fuel cap
has a hole somewhere, probably a hole on the inside leading to a
"passage" in the cap and that leading to a hole on the outside. Air can
get through, but it's harder for fuel to escape.

So check this vent is passing air OK.

Check also that the filter in your tap isn't clogged.

New to bike riding in AUS - Hi all, I have driven bikes (150 cc) for @ 10 years but not in AUS. In AUS I need to start with 250cc as per law and hence my choice is narrowed down to 250cc. I like bikes and wanted one for hobby/weekend drive. Most likely, I will be keeping the bike...
