Hi All,

My 2000 KTM 200 EXC has a 100/100-18 on it now.

Can I go to a 110/100-18 with no issues ?

Thanks in advance,

K-Style

Some of the people over at KTMtalk run the 110/100-18 on their 200s.
I ran one on my old '87 CR125 with no issues.

Yeah I read that and I ordered a 110/100-18 Dunlop D756. Thanks to all.

You can, but why? The 200 with work much better with the stock size. You can
spin it when you need to or sit back and let it hook up.

I've owned six 200s in as many years. I always use the 130/90 Michelin
S12 on the rear, equivalent to the 110/100. Plenty of power for that
size tire and it will last longer than the smaller size. BTW, the knob
size on the Michelin 120/90 is much smaller than on the 130/90.

Why would I not want it wider ?

Seems it would offer more traction and stability ?

Isn't the Dunlop an 'oversize' tyre? i.e it's actually wider than a

I have run a Dunlop D-756 at 110/100 -18 on my KTM 200 MXC without a
problem. Plenty of power for the slighlty wider than stock tire.
