Line em up Shirly, we need 'em.

I have a wideglide with a seat that is rather similar to that of a night
train's stock seat. "badlander" maybe? Here is a pic.

WHile i totally dig the looks of the seat compared to the stock seat, It
really sucks for long hauls. I have the stock seat from when i bought it
used, the guy had all the origiolan parts for me if wanted. I am going to
put it on tonight and do some bar hopping to check it out if weather
permits. Chances are its gonna rain like hell, so I thought i'd ask in here
if the stock seat is much more comfy?

thanks,

Aw for cripe's sake... put the seat on the bike, sit on it, and find
out.

Takes three minutes to swap out the seats but it requires going down to the
garage, removing the screw (either knurled or phillips), r/r badlander with
pillow/ reinsert screw, sit on it. Na, much easier just to post here and get
our opinion instead.

But FWIW, I had the same combo on my Dyna, I felt either seat was good for
long runs but the pillow seat gives more tailbone support and is comfier for
the wife.

well, i slapped the stock seat on and rode it around. not any more comfy in
fact it seemed to limit my ability to lean back and stretch out a bit (i'm
6'3). It made the bike seem very small for some reason. I went back to the
one on the pic.

grab a beer its early!

Just go find a wide glide with a Mustang saddle (it's what I use), sit on
it, if you like it, buy one. If you don't, scratch your ass until you find
one you do like.
