a few more introductions are in order what do you want to do? which roads are you going to take? how much are you willing to spend? wat's your bufget? Insurance? license? Having owned a Virago1100 for several years, I can say nice, good torquey bike and cruises happily on 110km/s but the tank size will probably let you down. Mine had a tank capacity of 14 litres + 3 reserve which equates to about 250 kms on the open road. So be prepared for regular fuel stops. Have a look at the VT750C, a steal at around 10,000. You can get a range of aftermarket luggage for it, pillion space looks ok and for a jap cruiser doesn't look bad either.
