Just wondering if there were any lurking folks out there interested in the
BC Lower Mainland world.

Had a great ride last weekend, caught the AM ferry over to the Sunshine
Coast, went up to Egmont, back and out to Porpoise Bay, got back to the
afternoon ferry early so did a short run down to Port Mellon. Round trip
~300 Km and about 1 1/2 hrs of ferries (not fairy's) Made for a nice day on
the bike. There are some nice twisties between Sechelt and Egmont, with
almost no traffic if you catch it between ferry runs. It can be a much
better ride than the Whistler thing, the deciding factor being traffic.
Being 1st off the ferry gets you ahead of the other stuff, and a few Km past
Sechelt and the roads yours. Locals very often pull off to let you by,
something pretty unusual and quite nice.

Cheers

D.

Hi Pete!

Sounds like you went past my place (just outside of Sechelt) and about halfway
to Woody's (Porpoise bay is halfway to Sandy Hook from Sechelt)

I find if I'm stuck in ferry traffic that my blood pressure is reduced greatly
by pulling over to smell the flowers for ten minutes or so.

Next time catch the run out to Garden Bay. more twisties and lots of lakes and
oceanfront areas.

TTYL,
James.

NOT TRUE!!!

Sunshine Coast is over run with speed traps, Little Old Ladies in
Winnebago's and Harley drivers who don't wave back!!!

Don't come here!! I want it for myself!!!!
