Aww...they fixed mine so I had to give it back. Mine handles better
anyway. That thing wanted a lot of input to keep it turning, and I'm

I had a loaner F650 a while ago that was chain driven. This one was belt
driven. I'll go look at that SV650 right now, thanks! I like Jetsons
space cars!

We're in a Bay Area newsgroup, and bound to run into squalls of
Political Correctness. Some people are offended by the term "gypsy,"
which may or may not incorporate a belief that people of this ethnicity
tend to defraud those outsiders with whom they do business. I believe
the currently favored term is "the Rom," as one of the concentrations of
these people is in Romania.

I find the obsolescence of ethnic identifiers amusing: although one
wouldn't dare use the terms to describe the intended beneficiaries of
these groups, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored
People and the United Negro College Fund are still very much in business.

when I lived in SF.

No matter what agency you find to cure your bike (perhaps a shaman at
Sycuan, now that we've voted to let them expand their operations), I

In our "politically correct" country, identifying anybody by ethnic
group is considered so rude and ignorant that if O.J. Simpson had been
seen fleeing the scene of his crime, he could not have been described
by his race.

To me, calling a gypsy a "gypsy" is not the least bit offensive, it's
what they claimed they were 600 years ago.
