I woke up this morning and the temp was 28 degrees. I piled on the
motorcycle and headed out to work. All the way there I was saying "I'm
not going to be known as a usenet pussy". I got to work and went into
the office. As I sat there at my desk getting caught up on what's been
going on since I was last there, people were stopping in asking me
"ARE YOU INSANE?".
I simply replied "yes, but I'm not a pussy...".
Anyone else rode to work today? >> Stay informed about: It was sure nuff cold... |

Every day, rain or shine, snow, sleet, hail, tropical storm, whatever.
But I don't do ice. If there is ice on the road (rare in Houston) I stay
home.

The forecast yesterday was cool and sunny...it was cold and wet. I got
wet and cold on my bike.
The forecast for today was warmer (48 degrees) and clearing skies. I
got cold this morning and colder coming home....with no sunshine at
all.

I think you're watching the wrong forecast. You must be picking up some
other town's weather report. Either that or your weathermen are reading the
wrong reports.

BJ, I'll have you know I cross at least 5 zip codes going to work!!!
Of course the zip codes are kind of crowded together since this is a big
city.
Anyway, it's wet and cold again today. My gloves and boots have been
laying in front of the fridge to dry out as much as they've been anywhere
else.
It looks like the fridge fell on someone and only their hands and feet got
away
from getting squished. Take care BJ.
