Went for a little ride this morning after taking the kids to school. Just a
little chilly but well worth it! Rode the back roads having a good time, met
up with some old friends, rode some more, and somehow I wound up back home
lol. Actually, I had to get ready for a 2pm court date (which lasted all of
45 mins) rode home and rode some more! Even braved the Friday evening
traffic on I35 all the way to Waco. Coming back, I was almost side-swiped by
a too fast too furious kid driving a honda of all things! After the near
miss, I got off 35 in Georgetown; got some gas, shook out my shorts and took
the back way home. All in all, a good day for me. Hope everyone had a good
day!

Reads like a real good laid back day.. Those are the best kinds to enjoy,
once in a while..I-35 is a bitch.. North or Southbound, seems like every nut
in Texas will be on that highway.. Any time I plan a trip to the Austin/San
Antonio area, I try to take the time to avoid the interstate and work my way
down, on the back roads..
When it is unavoidable, I try to run it as fast as possible with one gas
stop between DFW and Austin.. I can remember making that run in less than
three hours.. Seems like the best I can do now, is four hours.. The insane
traffic accounts for most of the difference in time..(or so, I tell
myself ).. Who knows ?

I would say 200 miles is a fair RIde..(wink)! Especailly, with
intentions of only going to the store to get oil and stuff. It would be
like me, riding over to my Honda Store, 6 miles, to get something, & by
the time I get home, I rode over to Mt. Vernon and back......(I live in
Texarana) !!??!!

pick up girls... All the daddy's around Bowie county kinda' put the breaks

Saturday was gorgeous in Houston; I had a meeting on the other side of
town, and rode there and back, about a 100 mile round trip.
It's another perfect day; time to hit the road again... maybe a long ride
this afternoon. Y'all stay safe out there.
