I rarely see the Intel Inside TM anymore.
They are much more into the Core2Duo, or Core2Quad these days.
I went to their website and it doesn't even have that Logo anymore.
Their logo is now "intel, Leap ahead."

I just gave my kiddo an 'Intel Inside" Simpsons hat they they gave me back
in 98 or 99 when I was at some conference or something.

I heard it said by some of the local trackday regulars/racers at a
bike night this fall, when a rather well off young fellow showed up on
the new 1098, wearing all the assorted ducati brand gear. He'd had it
for about a month, and put 1200 miles on it.

We all oogled his bike, talked about the new engine, amazing brakes,
and neat styling.

Then, when he went into the cafe to use the rest room, somebody said,
"Yeah - sure is a pretty bike, but did you see the chicken strips??"

Someone else replied, "No, those are just standard 'Ducati Strips!'"

We all shared a good laugh. Wink

You'd better look again. Those things are buggered out to the edge
front and back. I've had several tires like that that have a
different appearance within an inch or less of the edge. In fact, the
current 021s I have on the FJR appear to have about half inch strips.
But if you look closely you'll notice all the tire fingers at the very
edges of the tires were worn away.

Beware you limey Triumph pups...Desmo Inside.

While normally I would join in a good poser bashing, unfortunately, we
have Tim around as a regular, so I can't honestly make cracks about
Ducati incompetents the way I can Hardley riders. Plus, the local
track day teacher occasionally races his Duck, so between those two
examples I must resist the urge to stereotype with you on this
occasion.

I would like to...but I must not.
