Not bad - except for the explanation about the dog pegs "getting
shorter"; the actual problem is the edges rounding off...

I never _really_ understood motorcycle gearboxes until I spent an
afternoon with all the bits in my lap holding it all together without
the case and making it change gears...

how does the rev limiter work? -

Sometimes doing uni work can be practical - Some of you may recall I said I had to do a stats assignment this semester for the master's, so I decided to do it on motogp (cos I was planning on changing jobs and hence didn't want to use work data and besides doing it on work stuff is boring) So....

FS (Wollongong): '81 CB250 (needs work) - 1981 CB250N, black, runs fairly well, but has a number of minor mechanical problems which are cumulatively more of a pain in the arse than I want to be bothered with, since it's a surplus-to-requirements bike, and I don't have time for a project bike. ..

Typical ride to work... - Is it just me? 4wd pulls out in front of me, I honk (fairly long as horn is feeble and maybe confused with mouse being run over if not held on in a sustained sqeek), 4wd stops dead in tracks, I pull up beside and recieve loud verbal abuse for not..

Nice work Victorian government - Have to say it... Most draconian road regulations. Most Easter road deaths. We're not that far behind here in NSW. OK - statistically the above (obvious) implication requires some attention (as does the following) but it appears your glorious leade...
