Anybody ever had a gas tank brazed or welded locally ?

I know this is can be done but probably require inert gas
and/or purging. tank was lined with POR-15 years ago
but is showing signs of needing another repair.

I had a similar job done years ago by a radiator shop on
a truck tank, but would prefer to go with somebody who
worked on motorcycles regularly.

Any recommendations much appreciated. I'm in the
south bay.

thanks

Try Advanced Welding, 1088-A Independence Ave. in Mountain View. (650)
967-5583 Brian Stearns, the owner, is a motorcycle guy.

I believe Nichols in Milpitas can do that type of work.

I've had stuff welded there before, and they do good work.
