As I have no electrickery in my shed, I'm looking at getting one of
these for occasional use:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=98358&C=Maplin&U=SearchTo...=solar&

So, question as subject...

No help, but I've always wanted an excuse to own one of these (SFW)

I rarely use my car and have one of these plugged into the lighter
socket, I don't remember what the power o/p is, though

It does what it says on the tin

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember rob2 <petersam2005 DeleteThis @gmail.com>

There's still some of the originals knocking around the UK if you look
hard enough. uk.rec.engines.stationary is your best intro.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Mark Olson <olsonm RemoveThis @tiny.invalid>
saying something like:

Exactly; what kills an automotive L/A battery surest is deep discharge,
as little as three times for some.

>Bigger is better, but none of these are going to replace
>a mains charger for restoring a discharged battery, but they

That's about it.

ooh. Cool. One of those would do me too. I never understood those guys
at shows that just sit there with them doing nothing, just chugging
away. Hooking one up to a genny is a good idea.

Most of the stationary engine blokes enjoy a good chug.
