Fred- I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I've never been really hurt in any way. Some minor scrapes and cuts maybe. A lot has to do with the fact that trials bikes are generally ridden on the slow side and then only after walking a section pretty carefully to figure out a plan. I rarely ever see anyone fall. I got mine when I was waggling the bars trying to figure out what was causing the oscillation. Turns out it was the new rear shocks that were one inch too long, if anybody's interested.
