| Never been hurt riding? - Is there anyone here with extensive off-road riding (MX, HS, Trials, Trails, Enduro, Desert, Dunes, whatever) who's never been seriously injured? Minor cuts, bruises and light sprains don't count. Even stitches don't count unless..
first ride after getting hurt turns out both good and bad - a small crash messed up both my hands, but not so badly that i couldn't work. friday I finally decided it was time to get back on the horse. a buddy and I went on a 150 mile ride...20 of it tough trail and the rest gravel roads. we cut off..

Friday Dam short RR - OK, the dam is still there. Some of the trails have been smoothed with a narrow dozer, but only a few. Still plenty of ruts, roots, rocks, but- no mud! Sorry, Chris, but things were pretty dry. I found an amusing little downhill that I don't think is an.

I didn't do nothin' this time...honest! I had a few grossly
dysfunctional and enlarged internal organs removed so that my bladder
and kidneys could resume their rightful place and shape in my
abdominal cavity. They are now operating like they were designed to
do, and I no longer look 6 months pregnant. Whew...
Looking at 6 weeks of disability and who-knows-how-long til I can
ride.
Please don't make me laugh or cough.
