Yeah. I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if it would have

All that would have occurred to me is "This is going to hurt"

A pop-up says to click Ok to run an IE plug-in. I hit cancel myself and the vid
ran anyway. Then I had to slide the plug-in window up close to the close X as
the plug-in window kept reappearing after Cancel every time I moved my mouse out
of its area. That allowed me to cancel the plug-in and close IE. I've seen the
vid on another site before.

What makes you say that?
when you use at least two different anti-virus systems at
the same time and two different styles of firewall, two
different pop-up blockers. It's like wearing the "Bear Suit"
not much worries you.

Huh. I ran ethereal and caught a bunch of SNMP messages being sent at
my machine from both www.killsometime.com and some ad agencies, but
those are easy enough to block. Firefox has pretty good pop-up
blocking, so I was blissfully undistracted by any plug-in or other pop-ups.
Firefox is available for free for Windows machines at

So you have about 50 megs of crap running in the background to prevent
problems that you could fix by using a non-95% browser and a cheesy
hardware firewall running Linux? Interesting. >> Stay informed about: One of the better high-side saves I've seen |

Not even that much is used. Freeware rocks...it's usually
faster, smarter and it's coding is more elegant and
efficient. You should try free sometime...
Spybot
AdAware
Anitvir
enabled SP2 firewall
and all are active all the time...now if only I knew how to
write some counter measures that would hunt down the
original source of the malware and melts down the perps
mother board.
