You guys are all great and I admire you for your fabulous ability to
think clearly. I am now 50+ and going downhill in fifth gear. I have
tried to find the alt.binaries.photo.motorcycles site so I can view
your smiling faces but I am having no luck. All I seem to find is some
gay porno shit. So I sit here with my dumb ass in front of my computer
asking for some help. First person to guide me to the great website of
knowledge will get first pick of any city job in my new town. Thanks.

If you've made it to alt.binaries.pictures.motorcycles - wait a minute
- you said "photo". Unless that was a brain fart, go back and try
again. Regardless, there's been lots of junk on there for the past
several months.
Depending upon your news server's retention, things posted there may
disappear rather quickly. RoadRunner's retention on binary groups
seems to be about 24 hours at most - meaning if I don't see it within
24 hours of it being posted, it's gone.
Some servers don't carry a.b.p.m. at all. What server are you using?

I'd like the job of Beer & Breast Tester. Not all items will require
a full testing. Some may be dismissed without a glance. Some not.
I'd also like the position of Powerball Winner.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

DF -

If you're reading this newsgroup on a newsgroup reader, just go to the
menu selection that lets you display all the newsgroups. Then you can
start looking for alt.binaries.pictures.motorcycles, not photos.

Many (like mine) carry no binaries newsgroups. Anybody know a free
newsfeed that won't be swamped by RMD visitors?

some free (open) servers that might work for you are these
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="news://news-read1.maxwell.syr.edu/alt.binaries.pictures.motorcycles" target="_blank">news://news-read1.maxwell.syr.edu/alt.binaries.pictures.motorcycles</a>

here's another free viewer (web based)
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.usenet-replayer.com/groups/alt%2Ebinaries%2Epictures%2Emotorcycles.html" target="_blank">http://www.usenet-replayer.com/groups/alt%2Ebinaries%2Epictures%2Emoto...cles.ht</a>

the free ones are flakey
since you're using Google to post I'm assuming your
internet service provider doesn't carry many groups

I have only accessed RMD on google's site up until now and never gave
it much thought. I did see some of Tami's pics from Reno, I believe it
last November, but that was about it. Good pictures Tami. I do have a
new ISP so i will check things out. Free beer for everyone.

Hmm, I think I see your problem:
"I am now 50+ and going downhill in fifth gear."
I never go downhill in more than 3rd.
