Shirley the cards on the bar for all to share (limit 3 per customer).

Anybody here know if a '95 fxdwg or newer year gas tank will fit on a
'93? If yes, will the '93 dash fit etc? I want to get a tank with
the petcock near the rear of the tank rather then the front like my
'93. Any thoughts on if it may be easier to cap the old petcock and
weld a new one?

Oh shit. Not another tank welding thread.

Hey. Are you stranded on the road?

(Sorry. Couldn't resist.)

No, not another tank welding thread. I don't want to weld, read the
question! I want a tank with the petcock in the rear section of the
tank that will fit my '93. READ the question. READ the question.
READ the question. Sorry, the keyboard got stuck.

Yeah, stranded on the road with my wireless internet connection just
typing away.

You are forgiven, but do you have an answer to the fitment question?

Naaa. Sometimes (yeah, I sed just *sometimes*; got a comprehension
problem? <g>) I'm just a smartass.

If I'd had any really useful info, you can be sure I'd have passed it
along (in addition).

Are the part numbers the same? '93 and '94 are the same - the frame is
different on the '96 model year so I suspect '95 may be your only bet.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

"All the time" is a subset of "sometimes"? Or do you discount the time
you are asleep?

Not sure about the part numbers. I guess I'll have to try to get the
frame measurements on a '95 to compare. The length would not be an
issue for me, just the width (talk'n frame/tank here, people).

Anyone with a '95 that can measure?

Have another round on me.
