83 is still later than the XJ650 turbo though.

As I mentioned in another post the GL1000 Gold Wing didn't have a full
fairing it only had a 3/4 fairing.

It lacks the belly pan section.

Mmmm well I'd rather sell the Gilera that I'm also not trying very
hard to sell ! Smile

I don't have the KR1S (KR250C1) though, I have the second of the KR1's
(KR250B2).

In other words it went KR250A1, then A2 (both badged KR250), then
KR250B1 and B2 (badged KR1) then KR250C1/C2(badged KR1-S)

The A series is quite different - square tube frame, no power valve,
20 less HP, single piston front brakes on dual disk.

The B series have a modern twin spar frame, twin piston brakes and
larger disks, and about 60Hp. The B2 went from single disk to dual
disk. The B1 had a larger diameter disk than the A2 (ermm 290 vs 250m
I think)

Mine is in the red colour scheme you can see at the bottom of the
above brochure.

The C series is mostly just a few small upgrades on the B
http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/kawasaki/kawasaki_kr1%2089.htm

A better rear shock, an extra 5Hp squeezed out somehow, note though
different markets got different HP outputs (some of the euro bikes
were HP limited)

I suspect Clem wouldn't fit on the KR1 though (no offence Clem but if
you're over about 5'10 you're going to need to be thin and flexible to
ride it). The RZ350 would be a better choice (albeit slower..)

Errm; doesn't the fact that the KR250 is a one-behind-the-other tandem-twin
and the KR1 is a side-by-side-parralel-twin sorta' rate a mention?
