hit the market here ?

First one I can think of is Honda's 1959 Isle of Man TT racer.
http://www.motoesporte.com.br/historia%20moto/honda_team.jpg
http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/ian.huntly/TTH125.jpg

First one on the market here would've been a toss-up between the CB1100RC
and the VT250F about 1982.
First Yamaha would've been the 1984 RZ500.
First Suzook, the 1984 GSX1100EF.
First Kwak? hmmm.. Probably the 1984 KR250 but whether that qualifies as a
genuine full-fairing is questionable.....
http://www.kr250.org/images/KR_nigel3_big.jpg
Failing that probably the GPZ750 turbo also in 1984.

Arrgh; I forgot turbos!!
The XJ60 Turbo had a FF in 1982
http://www.bikez.com/pictures/yamaha/1983/18460_0_1_2_xj%20650%20turbo...age%20c
as did the as did the CX500 Turbo but whether that qualifies as a FF is
questionable:

Errk; what a note on which to sign off!

The CB900F2s date from 1979 so depending on your classification of
"full-fairing" ... yeah; they'd be first.
I'd argue that a FF should completely encircle under the engine though.

Hmmm interesting question...

My first guess would have been the Kawasaki GPz750 Turbo, but upon
reflection I suspect the Yamaha 650 turbo was a little earlier.

The Gold Wing wasn't fully faired until the 1500 (the 1200 had a 3/4
fairing) so it's not those, and the CX500 turbo only had a 3/4 fairing
as well.

The Honda VT250FII and the Honda VFR1000R are later than the two turbo's
as well I think.

Of course I've probably forgotten some very obvious model Smile

You, and I, will never know. Stick with what you've got. That green stuff
the other side of the fence is mostly weeds.
