I do know what you mean. When you get towards the semi final stage then
I think the effort needed to remain in the competition means they must
want to do it. Early stages of the competition then yes it's fizzog on
box time.

I've not read the book - largely because I find Bourdain incredibly
difficult to watch. Something about him just sets my teeth on edge.
