Wuds - WTF? - Dang I'm jealous! Looking like another 6 weeks before I can
take a breather from the new job long enough to crank the KDX up again much
less take a road trip. Seriously contemplating disassembly to see if I can
fit it inside the Mazda 3 for my weekly trips to NC and ride with scrape & s
jr.

Yo Dudley, If you come through N GA on your way outta NC with the rolling
palace, I'll throw the KDX on the back for Chris to ride at WUDI! Smile

Sturd, Heal quick dude and stay away from the cutlery....sheesh!

I'm looking forward to riding with you. Do you have a bike lined up - if not
we'll have a spare. (it's a POS Gas Gas 300, but it's easy to start and will
out run a CR80)

Your pages always give me a "Esta página está fora do ar"
message. I'm guessing it means "you're to stupid to be
trusted with seeing this"

Wudscrasher asks:

> Owwfukkinoww! WTF, Sturd? Does this mean you're out for Utah?

Well that's an interesting question. My first thought, while
feeling sorry for myself, missing WUDI and no riding of any
kind for a couple months, was Utarh is far enough out that
I could use it as incentive to rehab the hand well and fast.
It's doable, I think.

But I think Amy the Wonder Wife has a decent plan too -
get my rotator cuff fixed asap (next week) and rehab both
at the same time. The shoulder is an ancient injury (1976
Austinburg Raceway, YZ250) but is now constantly painful
and restricts some activity. I was going to get it done next
fall.

I'm going to get the hand guy, who I barely know, to talk
to my orthopedic surgeon, who I have on speed dial, and
figure out options.

Have some extra fun for me in AR

LOL!

No, that means "this page is offline".

That happens because my ISP hates redirection and denies the
redirecting attempt. You could try to copy and paste the link on a new
browser window. That works with most people... If you want, I can
email you the images... First is my toe a few hours after I smashed it
against a rock while racing an enduro (I still finished fifth),
minutes after I removed the boot and was on car going to hospital. The
second is the stitch job I got at hospital.

HellSickle asks,

I cut a flexor tendon. It pulls the final bone at the tip of my
finger
towards my palm. The rubber band pulls the same way so that
I don't put any load on the just repaired tendon.

>Whey did they drill the finger nail? Why not glue on an attachment?
>Is your Dr. just a sadistic bastard?

He's a prima donna for sure. Typically a procedure like this will
have
a "kit" that the surgical crew uses. It will have all the disposable
stuff
needed to perform the surgery - sponges, micro sutures for nerves,
needles,
resorbable sutures for the tendon, regular sutures for the entry cut,
etc.
If it didn't have glue in it, he didn't have any glue. Poor excuse
but
probably true.

The Real Bev looked at all the pics:

That was last fall. Missed a ride in NC that time.

Thanks... that worked.

BTW - I remember back when I started riding some 12 years ago
wondering why riding boots don't come in steel toe? After these pics
and the Two-Toes-Gone incident... I'm still wondering???

So, it's safe to say that Amy considers you a "fixerupper"? What, isn't her
horsie hobby keeping her busy enough? Why not direct her to something
equally constructive, like rebuilding the XT?
