Girls. Sheesh.
Lorena is the most non-agressive person I've ever ridden with. She's like a
Buhddist monk or something, seems to sense if you're setting her up and
she'll just pull over and let you by.

Scott has never ridden on a MX track. We're going to change that soon, and
start hitting practice days when we can, because I think the experience with
pinning the throttle, holding it on, and braking hard into the turns will
help him take that next step to "really fast". I figure I'll be able to beat
him for the first couple of hours, then he'll get the jumping down and I'm
toast. When he takes that throttle and brake agression back into the woods,
he's going to be pretty formidable.

We've taught them to respect the elderly. And to always be courteous to
riding partners.

Yeah, he's kinda funny that way.
Joe and I made him turn back in 2002, when Scott was on his TT-R90 and the
water was waist deep on Joe and I before we even got to the middle of the
channel. I think the burning humiliation of that failure haunts Scott to
this day.

In all fairness, Tara was hauling pretty good last time we did the track.
Her form improves every time. Boys offer to start her bike for her. Her
boyfriends parents don't want him riding, or we'd bring him along.

Ahh, that explains it. At least it's nothing that can't be solved by years
of therapy. ("Father Issues")
