What possible reason could you have for caring?

More importantly, how much would it cost to make a Honda CB600F4i as
comfortable, as weather protective, as resaleable, as desirable, as
high mileage capable, as long distance capable, and as lusted after as
my Street Glide?

My expenditure on engine upgrades was a mere pittance in comparison.

Besides, I have other bikes that leave Honda CB600F4i's in my wake at
the racetrack, and not all of them have the horsepower of a CB600F4i,
either.

Horsepower is by no means the be-all and end-all of motorcycling.

You wish, asswipe. Buy a motorcycle, learn to ride, and THEN get back
to me on horsepower.

Say, Jack? How much would it cost to modify a Honda CB600F4 to put
out 107 ft-lbs of torque?

Just curious....

Honda also had, back in the 60's, 250cc 6-cylinder race-bikes. As I
recall.

A smaller front sprocket would seem to be all it needs.

Just shift down a gear or two.

Yes and no. I had an RD350 (or was it the 400) I felt it was
uncomfortable and wimpy. Not to mention just about everything seemed
counter-intuitive to my Jawa-Suzuki trained reflexes, go figure. Then
I got to try an early Virago 920...uncomfortable to a fault, but I
admit it wasn't a bad bike. Now here is the weird part, those were all
compared to a bike roughly 10 years older, less power, less torque,
bench seating (that saved my life once) that never the less i'd have
taken it up against anything on a twisty road with it's low haning
pipes. God save the Suzuki T-500's every year of them!
Only a Savage or a Goldwing have fit me as well. Makes me nervous to
even try the Versys...because all the dealers around me do not allow
test rides. Only one way to really move motorcycles OR crack. Give
the kiddies a free hit.

And a rebuilt motor? Because enough turbo to get that torque tends to
eat motors.

Probably about the same. Or you could get an ST1100 which isn't lusted after by
the unwashed ignorants but keeps its resale pretty well.

Most of the people I've known who lusted after HDs had never owned one.

It's all about comfort and whether or not you like what you have. If you don't
have those two, you don't have anything.

Had one. Diidn't find it comfortable or relaxing to ride, Didn't
care for its power delivery characteristics and certainly don't need
one now.

And I simply don't give a darn about what other people, unwashed or
not, lust after. That simply has no place in my motorcycle buying
decision hierarchy at all!
