I thought that the US Navy cut up anything larger than a cruiser ,or at
least made it not sea worthy,
if the ship was NOT sold as an arms deal with a foreign nation? Could be
wrong. But I know 15 years ago I used to go to govt sales etc in Florida and
that is what the literature said at the time.
Either way be one hell of a party barge. Just imagine the fuel oil
bills.......

Maybe with a real light person, using a big set of doubles. I would think
not with a full grown person on a single. I like to ski at about 35-40 mph.
That's a "comfortable" cruising speed for me, on a single. Much slower than
that and I start to plow, much faster than that and I have to start thinking
about what I'm doing. I've skied at 70mph *once*, just so I could say I did.
At that speed, all I was doin' was hangin' on and hoping I didn't fall.
70mph on the water is *fast*.
You have to get a ski up on a plane and I don't know that you could at
14kph. If it's shy of what you need, my guess is that it's "just" shy of
what you need. You need about 25mph to ski (depending on your weight and
type of ski).
Anyone know how many fast, in MPH, 14 knots is?

14 knot = 16.1109123 mile/hour (mph) At least according to an online
converter.

you launch them with the catapult!
