I took delivery of the new(ish) exhaust this morning and fitted them in less
than 1 hour, removed the old ones first with seized nuts bolts and joins.
What a difference they make we can now sneak around past the boys in blue
without even a look. Margaret was a bit worried about the smoke from the
outside of the exhaust though until I explained its where the tape glue as
to burn off, the tape was on the mixer box(?) under the engine.

The problem that I have with fitting an aftermarket exhaust to the F4i, or
getting a V-twin, is that I'd have the rest of the hostel off side here when
I go to work in the morning. My "driveway" out of the building's basically
right outside their rooms and I get up at least an hour or two before most
of them.
