Post subject: electric motor "all New"

ford (mercury) is going hybrid on the "new" SUV
it's going to have a electric motor & a charging motor
since I might need a BFH or BFEM to hit some stuff
in the garage does anyone know how heavy the electric motor
is?

sorry mike it only tows 1000 lbs (put a trailer hitch on
wife's car because it tows better)

I think the motor alone will weigh around $8000.

Well, I'd like to know what happened to my BFEM. It must have moved out
after it because a celebrity:)

Got your message but late.. I was on a last minute ride with a friend up
in northern MA tonight. I've got your date on my books. Note there's a
couple of Asia trips coming up in that time frame so we'll have to play it
by ear. If I'm around, bring some sailing gear.

Honda CR500 Motor Fit for replacement - I have a 1987 CR 500 rolling chassis and wondered will any year CR500 engine fit the bike without modification? I wondered how open my options are for a new engine to get this project going. Thanks

old(ish) fuel - So typically it's 3 or more months between rides on my KDX... when it's that long, I drain the premix and start fresh. I'm going riding tomorrow afternoon, and it's been just over a month since I last rode the bike. There's still 1/2 tank or more in it.....
