Just decided to bite the bullet and get the tappets , since the PO
had no documentation of replacing them (this fella kept all his receipts
....). And since my rocker boxes don't leak (yet) I decided to go with
adjustable pushrods .
Ended up getting aftermarket tappets and a set of SE pushrods for
less than a c-note , delivered .
Now I just need to find some ambition , I seem to be all out for now
.. Got all the parts for the swingarm rebuild , and now the motor parts
I wanted to replace (unless I decide on a bigger cam). Got the ckt
breaker , wire , and relay for the 'lectrics work I want to do ...
If I had a garage , or a bigger shed , I might find that ambition
quicker , but for now it looks like I get to wait for (slightly) better
weather - 33 deg and light rain right now , kinda kills any desire to
wrench in the driveway .
I wonder if the bike will fit in my big tent ...

Hell, I've got a shop and a new heater, and my bike is still scattered
all over the shop.
Guess I gotta paint the kitchen today thanks to you. Hope UPS has
trouble finding your house.

And even yesterday, with the ice still on the trees, working on my
truck in Wally's shop was tosty to say the least.
