| I've found the beemers though unexciting, to be one the most comfortable
bikes for long distance touring.
Despite having a 64 yr old body that's seen far better days I have no probs
with long 2-up trips on the BMW K1200 GT komfort.

Upright sitting position, enough power and comfort for touring and good fuel
range.
You can get the DL650 V-Strom with ABS for under 12 grand on the road now
which i reckon is not bad value.
Just a suggestion.

I know someone who just bought a DL1000, with a full Givi luggage set
thrown in, on the road in Vic for $13500.

Well going somewhere and leaving does not count as attending twice.
Not like you're Damien or Frosty so I was kinda expecting more from you
than that..
I went down the shop to get milk twice, but I only went in once. err ..
wha ?
If you're using zero-based counters it could actually be 4 ..

Listen - the last time I drank Coopers my lips went numb, I started
talking even more incoherently than I normally do, I tried to bed my GIS
lecturer, and spent the majority of the next morning looking for my mate
