Hello all.

I haven't really posted to newsgroups in many years, mostly since the
web based message boards became all the rage. I'm kind of hoping that
the newsgroups don't die. The web stuff is now becoming too
commercialized with the targeted advertising and all. I'm a backup admin
one or two of them, so I can't complain too much though.

That said, there still is a place for them, and I was hoping people
would post info about their local clubs. Maybe we can interact or start
a rivalry or something Smile

Mine is http://www.desmosouthwest.com. Run by a guy who works at
Renaissance Motorcycles in Tucson. It's a fun group. Not a very big one
yet, but we're working on that. There is a message board at
http://www.desmosouthwest.com/forum/.

Anyone else?

Andy

Maybe not in your neighbourhood:

Ducati Club Denmark www.ducati.dk

There is only one club for Ducati's in Denmark and it's counting some 900
members.

Nice photos! It's the same as our club, you call it a Ducati club but
some other european bikes show up too and it's OK Smile But we don't have
anywhere near 900 members. Maybe 30.

Do you know if that Pantah ever got fixed in the Pantahfraktionen from
2006? Not pretty.

I see an 848 in those photos. If someone took a ride, they should post
here! Heh.

No ... it's dead. The driver was very lucky and survived except from some
problems with his left foot. OK - it took him about a year to come over
all the other injuries, and some 37, nice titanium screws!

Probably a little late to post, but our club is having a track day at
Arroyo Seco Raceway on Sunday January 13th. I can't make it
unfortunately. Should be a fun day.

Check www.desmosouthwest.com for details if interested.
