Was scooting along on my bicycle just then thru the Johnston / Hoddle st
intersection when I spied a copper (in a fully marked car) chatting away
on his handheld mobile.

Naturally I pulled a quick u-turn and started surreptitously pulling out
my camera, unfortunately I _just_ missed out as the lights went green
and he drove off - naturally still on the phone.

I'm sure the Herald Sun would have lapped it up. Ah well.

*** WSBK SPOILER ***

And in other news, how good was last night SBK races? Lanzi's charge on
the 749 at the end of the WSS race was great to see, and Walker's podium
on the FP1.

Jules

I believe that police are exempt from these rules. It would hardley be
good that they could use radio/phone to find out where to go when they had
to go somewhere!

The Sun would like it because it is a trashy low-brow news paper! The
current affair of hard copy.

Cheers,

Police are exempt under the Police act. We don't even have to wear seat
belts as its an ohas issue of getting the gun out..

Mobile phones are allowed, for work use..

Same thing applies to all road rules Smile

Just sos you know..

I don't know about the rest of the country but police are exempt from that
law in NSW. Gee it would be nice to make up the rules to govern yourself.

we can say something like Harleys suck and park out the front of OMCG's

oh you ride in the back, don't mine the blood and the yellow stuff..
