My grey cells must be fading fast. First I told a guy a had a Morini 350
Strada drum brake front wheel going spare only to discover when I
finally dug it out that it was my spare rear with the KR124 'wet' (I did
have a TLS front spare about 10 years ago honest).

Now, on coming to try and improve the project bike starting (already
much better courtesy of new BP7EVX plugs and NGK caps) I discover it has
not got 'paired' carbs. It has two RH units, so you can't get at the
idle mixture screw properly on the front pot.

A furtle in the shed produced a suitable but somewhat furry VHB25S body.
Searching the archives suggests several strategies for cleaning it up.
Brake fluid soak to start then carb cleaner? It's not too bad really.
The slide still moves and the throttle stop and mixture screw are free,
but it has been left with the float bowl off. No problem replacing that
and the floats/needle with the ones from the wrong handed one.

I used carb cleaner straight away (Amal, Bing and Mikuni) with cotton
wool buds to get into the smaller areas. Turned out nice and all is
well with them.
