We raced a KTM 65 and liked it a lot, but getting parts was a pain in the
butt. I was riding a '98 YZ400f so we decided to run the YZ 80 when KTM put
off there 85 again. The KTM's are real good but none of our YZ's have let us
down in the last 5 years.
A lot of times I tell people that most of the bikes are real close, we stick
with Yamaha's because we have an awesome dealer that bends over backwards
for us and gives us a special pricing plan for racers. Not a lot off buy
enough to make it worth going there instead of buying from the catalogs.
Both the YZ and KTM are great, I'm sure either one will be a great choice...
GOOD LUCK!
