Sweet.

For those of us old enough to recall the 60's and 70's, the 650's and
750's were considered the big bikes of the day and yet today they look
so small.

It might not be completely original but it looks to be in good shape.

Good luck with it, and enjoy.

Tim ...
Yo Tim. That's about as straight as a bike gets. Non OEM stuff or not,
that is one nice motorcycle.
If it isn't already, in a few years that bike will be a REAL collector,
and a rideable machine to boot.
Those bikes didn't handle all that bad either. Made me think of the last
Trump I owned. Kinda looked somthin' like that one.
I think I'm gonna cry. <g>

Damn Nice find. Smile

Sweet bike, Tim!! Hey, if you need a ride from the airport, drop me a
note. I'd be happy to pick you up from the airport (assuming it's
Detroit Metro or Flint) and take you to wherever the bike currently
lives.

Nice.
What that bike is, is a perfect example of what someone might have
done with that bike at the time (early 70s) to make those little
personal improvements.
It looks classic, if not original.
Those Dunstall style megaphones look much better than the Triumph
megaphones of the day.

And if my experience with the original Norton peashooters is any guide, I'll be
"saving lives" all the way back to the Washington area!

Tim,

Congrats on the 'new bike'. I'll make the same offer as Shadowfax. I live
about an hour from both the Flint and the Tri-city (Bay City, Saginaw,
Midland) airports. If you need any help getting things together at this end,
don't hesitate to ask. I think we could even find a place for you to spend
the night if it's necessary.

Keep us posted with the detail, if nothing else maybe we could all get
together for lunch, and a grand Michigan send-off for your trip back. Maybe
we could even follow you along for a bit and gather up any parts that might
fall off along the way, lol.

Best regards,

Cool. I had a `66 Bonneville and know what ya mean about the carbs! I quite
like the modifications on that bike, certainly add to the overall look and
don`t stand out as "unoriginal". Have fun with it!

to work out, but will keep both yours and Scott's kind offers in mind!
