Well it depends on where/what terrain you ride. What kind of stuff your
riding will dictate how wide or narrow you need them. Remember shorter is
better on getting through tight stuff but normal width gives you better
control. My rule is I leave them as wide as I can get away with. I know that
is a very generic answer but I'm not a one size fits all conditions kind of
guy.

I don't know... if you have to stop and worm through, then I'd argue
that it really doesn't matter what your bar width is.

I will say, however, that on my first ride-around, the full-width
Renthals on my CRF felt overly wide, at least wider than I'm used to.
I'm going to have to break out a tape measure and see whats up with
that.
