I'm sure if one walked in dressed in 'suitable' clothing and turned up out
the front in one of said exotic cars and enquired about an Italian bike
'just to look good sitting next to the car hahaha' then one would get good
service Wink

Frank, to my knowledge, the big four jap manurfactures haven't had to
be taken over by anyone else.

Ducati i believe, have had a few rescue packages thrown at them. So
just maybe the japs have got it right.

Johno

ps, I am sure that Chris Vermeulen would also honour a bet. Nothing
worse than a person who makes a bet, then doesn't pay up.

That's because they could tell you were only thinking of perhaps buying
one, not actually thinking of buying one or perhaps going to buy one.

> Defaulted to the Suzuki - Better sales, and customer service

What, they were having some kind of special accessibility day for
painfully shy tyre-kickers who are thinking of perhaps maybe one day
buying some kind of notional motorcycle or related product?

Oh yes Sir, come in off the cold footpath Sir, this bright red one here
would really suit Sir, I'll bring it over to you. That's right Sir, a
bright red Ducati keyring ... that's sure to impress the ladies ...

I agree, if you are wanting some attention in a bike shop, just go and sit
on the most expensive model on the showroom floor.

Someone who buys a Suzuki because the Ducati dealer was rude was never
really going to buy a Ducati.

Nev has nailed it, 100% correct.

Just came here to have a moan.

Was ALWAYS going to buy a Suzuki.

The *in* place to buy a Duke now is the new joint top end of Elizabeth
Street.

I see some other new brand being sold there now.

Cheers

How good would those sales reps get at sorting the buyers from the
browsers!?!?

You can pick a Ducati rider by the....
Gold accesories such as ear rings and necklance.
T-shirt.
The latte in front of them.......
