Yeah, lost Comcast for a day or so, though. TV still worked but no
internet.

They suck. I'm switching to Bellsouth DSL.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

You will really like DSL. I love mine. Switching was the best thing I did
for my Internet surfing.

Did you switch from a cable connection?
Comcast, SBC, all my options are monsters.

In this area, the xDSL offerings all pretty much suck. Slow speed,
intermittent connections, horrible tech support. I used
Mindspring/Earthlink here at home and Bell South Fast Access at work. Bell
South was light years worse, but I got fed up with MS/EL and went to cable a
couple/few years ago. Haven't lost connection once in that time. Speed is
3+ times as fast generally.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I switched from Cable modem to Bellsouth business DSL since I work from home
now and have a VPN connection to HQ.
