For some reason (it must be the fact he's a Kiwi and the bike he's riding)
but I see this guy and I'm reminded of Cam Botherway.

Long story. I have to save few grand first for a family issue. Then I
have to save a few grand more for replacement parts and tools I
currently don't have.
Then I'll be doing a full bare frame rebuild. Respray the frame
(thinking gloss dark grey two-pack), fully rebuild the donk, new brakes
throughout, new Ohlins suspension (already purchased), new bearings
throughout. I'd just spent thousands on it in preparation for last
year's GP, including a new Bagster, gel battery and a pair of Michelin
2CTs fitted two days before the donk went. Never mind chicken strips,
these haven't even had the mould lines running *across* the tread worn
off yet...
I figure it might take another 12-18 months before it hits the road but
it's gunna be smick.
I sit with it every night, in fact I can touch the Pig from where I sit
right now.
I miss riding it but in the meantime, I've got the DR.
the DR650 is like when you meet a girl who does things your girlfriend
doesn't like doing...
