I took the Speed Triple out for a 30 minute ride today.
Even with the shellclava, a few layers and all the rest of the gear, I was
freezing.
The first 20 minutes were great, the last 10 mins -- COLD.
It was nice and exhilarating other than that!

It was 45°F when I returned.
I guess it's warmed up a bit since then.
Awesome day, I should have brought the electrics with me, I would have
gotten another hour or more of riding in.

45? And you're COLD?
Damn! I'd kill for 45 degrees. I can comfortable ride for several hours
in 45 degrees, without heated gear.

Hell, I'd settle for 20F and no snow/ice on the streets. But it seems
Wisconsin is headed for a record year for snow. Almost every
municipality around here is out of salt now.

The wife and I were talking about that tonight. We're not going to vote
FOR him, but vote AGAINST Hillary.

Current Conditions here are:
7F and snowing... Again Sad

Good news, I signed up for Buell's inside pass track day on June 8th.

I got out to vote for a "hope" for Change today, too. I'm guessing
'da Bama gonna get it by about 5-8% in WI today.

And thanks for mentioning the Inside Pass event June 10th, Steve. I
just signed up for it too. Can barely wait to try the 1125R at RA!

Yeah, got your email about the Demo days, and I'd be down BUT on the
21st I'm riding out to CO and UT for my bachelor party ride.

Just have to try the bikes at the track, instead!

Oh, and I think the Superbike weekend at RA is June 8th, the MOTO-ST
races got bumped to June 14th, which is when I'm getting married.

That's sweet that they offer incentives to bring their customers to
that track.

Woops, you're right, it's June 10th. June 8th is the Moto-ST races.

I don't even bother with the glove liners in 45 deg. I've been getting
my share of below 32 deg rides in. Luckily, the commute is generally
less than 30 minutes, so the fingers don't get too cold. I should really
look into heated grips, or gloves, or something.

I've got the Buell heated grip kit. And while my bike is sitting
literally 30 feet away from me at work, I've been far too lazy to
install 'em...
