It's noon, it's still in the low 20s, there's ice and snow on the
ground. Riding just got turned into a non-event.

I'm heading out to the homebrew store to get some ingredients for the
first Stout of the year.

Mr. Newlywed Arnett, are you doing the WUDI thing this year and would
you care to be a beer courier again?

Mmmmmm....had a Guiness for breakfast. As soon as I unpack my kit, I'll be
doing the same. Not quite ready for a winterbrew yet, it was 60° in Colorado
Springs today...Summer Wheat was today's flavor. Got any good ideas for a
Spodefest flavor? Better stock up now while I have the time...

Well, I'll come get it or meet you, whether I go or not. How's that?

Actually, still undecided. Idaho is taking two weeks of my vacation. I'll
have to try to sneak in some overtime to take back between now and then.

We're going the Atlanta SX again this year, so we could meet you at
the same gas station if convenient. Or the same convenience store if
it's gassy.

Whiskey makes me go to jail. I don't do that anymore. Actually, Gin
makes me go to jail too. I'm too old for that now.

Glad you made it back home all safe and sound. Sounds like you got
the better end of the weather deal.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Yeah, but I hurt my back loading the U-haul...no riding for awhile until I know
it's good. Gotta re-jet for altitude, too. But, I went fly-fishing yesterday
in shorts & T-shirt...it ain't all bad <grin shit>

I think you're just doing a pre-emptive hole-shot on the whining for a
Rampart winter ride. I was going to see if you, McKinney, & others
would like to get screwed up & go riding in late January.

Best medicine for back injury: beer
Best rejetting tool: beer
Best thing about fishing: beer

oh-oh. Is this the first signs of Mr. Spodely backing out of SpodeFest?????
I sure hope not.

We've made plans for y.......uhhh...nevermind. You just make sure
you get there, ya'hear!

I've already been to the bike shop twice this year. Stocking up on supplies
for ISF04.

And you (need) to be there to warn Tiago about all the camp dangers he
might be facing if un-supervised.

Oh.. and I prefer an unfiltered summer wheat brew or a fine pale ale myself.

I'd love to, but I'm not sure my back will be up for it, or that I can burn a
set of rubbers for screwing (huh,huh...get it?). I'd ride with a broken foot,
leg or arm, but my back is my support, and want to be sure it's good to go for
summertime. Man, I can't even snowboard, that's how bad it is, but you'd
prolly think that's a good thing <g>.
Go ahead and make the plans. I may show up to be the pit bitch and cook some
burgers & drink beer.

Having been thru back problems, I can sympathize.

Snowboards are the quads of the ski world. Overall, skiing is
a RDR sport. I prefer backcountry. Earn your turns.

Hard to make plans when no one is committed. I've been
actively recruiting with limited sucess. Most friends just
smile & shake their heads when I mention winter riding.
