I'll post more later, see, I'm too tired and beat up to figure out
this keyboard right now, so...

Highlights:

Jim & Deb: Most gracious hosts known to man/woman

Arkansas: Is it never NOT wet & muddy?

Jack Bondus: Gregarious, should wear his protective gear playing
poker

Josh Cook: Most generous, next to his folks. Thank you, Thank you,
Thank you for use of your bike !!!

Phil Thomas (MXPhilipper), co-patriot of Opie: He's Your friend when
you first shake his hand, just don't let him tap you on the helmet Sad

Gabe Cook: Wear ear plugs if you bunk with him, don't run him over
(see above)

Minnesoooootans: Ride every day, all day. Must be the snowmachine
cross-training...I need to do that

Wudscrasher: Brought the Spode lifestyle to a little corner of
Arkansas...stay up late, win their money, sleep in, ride little, crash
a LOT, and have a story to tell

RMDers: Met Everett Marple, JEB (Brunsgaard - sp?), jgas...and never
rode with 'em. It was a little intimidating, of course...but, there's
always next year, or the next "Gathering-of-the-Spodes", so....

....Until next time, or next meeting, best wishes to all who made it to
WUDI "X" !!!

That's impossible to disagree with right there. That said, David &
Karen Jones were equally gracious in Idaho, and Joe Wellen was kind
enough to cook me breakfast!

Haven't had the pleasure yet, but one of these days...

I really like Phil and it's good to see he and Opie back in the
dirt!

Did you win the Most Spectacular Crash Award? Tell us more!

Everett (and Keith) are great guys. I still haven't met JEB (I
don't think?), and I dunno who jgas is. But if they're friends of Jim
Cook they can't be all bad. Was RaRa there?

Jim,

Sent you a email about the AHRMA race... one of my buddies will be

RahRah made the trip on Saturday and Sunday, but was on crutches, not
his bike. His grin and enthusiasm was a definite addition to the
Wudi10 gathering.

MxPhlipper brought and set up the outdoor cinema that greatly
enhanced the night time campfire experience, and was great to ride
with.
He even accompanied me and rode in the Poker Enduro Mudfest (at Crow
Mountain) on Sunday, and rode a bunch of the day yesterday with me,
Gabe, Chris, and the remainders of the Minnesota Bunch.

Here's a link to a helmet cam video of one of the trails at Brock
Creek that I don't think you sampled. This was taken on Jgas's
Copperhead Trail.

Truly XR650L country. Needs more obstacles, though.

Hey Chris, it was great to meet you at last. Sorry we didn't get to talk
much or ride together.

Keith, Cameron and I put in a full day on Saturday following JEB around and
didn't get back to camp until almost dark. Sunday was the best though...for
me anyway. Keith had bike troubles and didn't ride and Cameron broke the
lever off his clutch master cylinder early. So Cameron and Rick went back to
camp leaving me, JEB, Mark A. and Jeff N. to ourselves. Mark is a AA rider
and he flat disappeared. I'm sure he was bored to tears riding with us on
Saturday Smile Jeff and I hung with JEB for a while but he steadily pulled away
and then it was just me and Jeff. We had a great time rat racing back to
camp. Did I mention that I love my 300 and trials tire? It's the perfect
combo for that place IMO.

I hope you can make it again next year.

Great pics Wuds! Sorry I missed the trip, looks like it was a first class
operation, not that I'd expect anything less from Jimbo and crew.

KW,

I didn't make WUDI this year either and I'm pretty pissed about
it. Smile Soooo let's get together and head out there... maybe April???
With the price of gas/diesel these days I need to cost share with 2 or
3 more riders... but I'm up for it.

I'm game, but with the new job, April is gonna be a bit earlier than I can
swing it. More like late May or early June.

Let's work it out. I need my Arkansas TST fix. It's been a year
now. Smile
