how did the US'ers expect to be represented in a Parliament that was
across the Atlantic Ocean at the time?
These were British colonies, EVERYONE knew they were British colonies and
the US'ers knew what they were in for when they came
the self same people who profited from British colonialship wanted a
piece of someone else's pie, King George's
won't be too soon for me, when they fall prey to their own bafoonery
approx 200 years and their economy is a mess, and their milli-tares are
spread thin...

Once when I was in Hawaii, on the island of Kauai, I met a mysterious
old stranger. He said he was about to die and wanted to tell someone
about the treasure. I said, "Okay, as long as it's not a long story.
Some of us have a plane to catch, you know." He stared telling his
story, about the treasure and his life and all, and I thought: "This
story isn't too long." But then, he kept going, and I started thinking,
"Uh-oh, this story is getting long." But then the story was over, and I
said to myself: "You know, that story wasn't too long after all." I
forget what the story was about, but there was a good movie on the
plane. It was a little long, though.

I wonder if the polite thing to do is always the right thing to do. When
I met the family from Japan, they all bowed. I pretended like I was
going to bow, but then I just kept going and flipped over on my back. I
did this five times. I think they got the point.

great to hear from you, I take it a step further though, democracy is a
false peace that covers the ever underlying feudalism of trade and
culture, I think feudalism should be the outright and present rule, trade
and culture are too important to leave to a vague overtone, I'm not
talking about war, I am talking about leaders and vassals that have
earned what is there and are to the utmost willing to train and employ
workers(serfs) to be the same, since the beginning of democratic trends
from feudal states, the question has always been "who will watch the
watchmen", feudal states embody the profit that they seek, it is far more
honest, and fair, the boss is not the boss for no reason, vassals are
stakeholders who were serfs in work or defense, much more dignity

The Greeks invented democracy and only adult male citizens had a say.
The rules of democracy are man made and just as arbitrary as any other
political system.
No government can survive without the support of the army and police.

I guess more bad things have been done in the name of progress than any
other. I myself have been guilty of this. When I was a teenager, I stole
a car and drove it out into the desert and set it on fire. When the
police showed up, I just shrugged and said, "Hey, progress." Boy, did I
have a lot to learn.

It's funny, but when you look at an old man, then you look at a photo of
him when he was a young man, then look back at the old man, then the
photo, back and forth, pretty soon you'll do whatever anybody tells you to.

I can still recall old Mister Barnslow getting out every morning and
nailing a fresh load of tadpoles to the old board of his. Then he'd spin
it round and round, like a wheel of fortune, and no matter where it
stopped he'd yell out, "Tadpoles! Tadpoles is a winner!" We all thought
he was crazy. But then we had some growing up to do.

You know what would be the most terrifying thing that could ever happen
