Goto events, 99.5% of people that attend and ride, will offer the kid a ride
on a bike (if adult is with them, and they seem to "get it" when talked
to... Oh and it helps if he's ever ridden a cycle before that is... when
you go, take your own boots gloves etc that he can wear. WHY? see what he
thinks about it (trials), some "kids" wont do things unless everyone else on
YouTube and the dog are into it. so it depends on the kid, IMHO. one thing
is for sure, if you both got one, he's got another 88% chance of liking and
doing it, and you got your bonding thing. PS we got several wives riding in
Nebraska and a couple in KS now so technically Jen has no excuse to not make
it a "whole" family thing.
FYI, around 30 years experience in starting and training "new" trials
riders, that is all I have to go by.
Balance is the Key to ANYTHING... (Trials, the school of big rocks)
