There's a great place about 35 miles west of San Diego... the terrain is a
little wet, but I hear it's really good. Let me know how it works out.

hmmm.. How about Jawbone Cyn, off Hwy 14. 25 miles east of Mojave.
Or Red Rock/Dove Springs. 10 miles past Jawbone Cyn. off Hwy 14.
Or Johnson Valley OHV, East of Lucerne Valley. Take Bear Valley rd.
turn off from Hwy 15 in Hisperia/ Victorville.
Or Stoddard Wells OHV area. Off Hwy 15 before you get to Barstow.
The best place for quads. Glamis. Not far from Salton Sea. in San Diego Co.
Or Pismo Beach north of Santa Barbara.
These would be good to get you started.
Do some web searchs for these areas and they will take you to "links"
to other sites with riding information.
Good quad'n to ya.
